Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway Today (80 mins) Ref: BP073D
From Welshpool to Llanfair Caereinion. Through the hard work of enthusiasts the railway was saved in the early 60s, the line being reopened through, using much of the original equiment. Today the railway is a major tourist attraction in mid Wales. Footage includes the locomotives and carriages and special events over a period of two years and follow the restoration of 'Joan' a Kerr Stuart 0-6-2 tank locomotive rescued from Antigua.
